The Thrift Shop is open August through May on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. till 2 p.m. Consignments are
happily accepted from 9:30 a.m. till noon and consigning is a great way to make a few extra dollars. The Thrift Store is
always in need of volunteers and welcomes you to volunteer for half-an-hour, or all day. Without great volunteers we
would not be able to give back to our local and military communities. If you are interested in volunteering or would like
more information, please call the Thrift Shop during business hours at 257-3965.
The Moody Spouses Club Charitable account relies upon the profits from the Thrift Shop and fund raisers to fund our
annual academic scholarships and various charitable donations. We are honored to report that we raised $10,000 for
the 2007-2008 year and awarded numerous scholarships to local military spouses and child dependents. Moody
Spouses Club charitable dollars will be distributed back into military and local charities through the First Sergeant's
Council, Friends & Family Support and American Red Cross to name a few. Past fund raisers included Christmas gift
wrapping and our annual Silent Auction.
