You will have to fill this form out and return it by March 15th in order to vote in April. Thank you for your understanding and support of the Moody Spouses Club. |
We are asking MSC members to help with the food, drinks and supplies for the MSC meetings. We have plenty of supplies but still need some more food and drinks. If you can help out in anyway, fill out the form on the Sign Up Forms page or email signups@moodyspousesclub.com. Thank you for your help and support!
The MSC Scholarships are available for applicants to fill out. They are available at area schools, the base library and educational office as well as on our website in PDF form here MSC Scholarship Application Form. We had worked hard to get them ready and your have worked hard to help earn the funds needed to give these scholarships. For more information about the scholarship, please contact our Scholarship Chair.
May 9th is National Military Spouse Appreciation Day and Moody AFB wants to know what you want to do! This is our day! They want to thank us for the support we give our spouses and living the life of a military spouse. Think of it as the 23d Wing throwing us a party. So that being said, what would you like? Would you like to take tours of what your spouse does? Have speakers come in? Spa day? Send us your ideas and we will do our best to make it happen! The MSC is going to work with the base to get you what you want on your special day, so give us some ideas to propose to them. Email us and let us know what you think!
The EMS spouses have put together an exercise group. They meet Mondays and Fridays at 0900 at the Fitness Center to spin and Wednesdays and Sundays to run/walk at VMS track. If you would like more info, contact the spin instructor, Sandra Naglack, for the group. http://www.freewebs.com/mafbspinningspouses/ They also are trying to get together a childcare co-op. So for those with children not in school they won't have to pay for a babysitter using this method.
The MSC is interested in having a booth at this years Azalea Festival in downtown Valdosta. Last year it brought in over 35,000 people. We would like to have information about the MSC, and possibly sell water, baked goods and decals. But we would need your help! We need help with supplying the baked goods, water and helping out to man the booths. We would probably need 2-3 people at a time and working 2-3 hour shifts. The festival is March 15th and 16th from 10am - 5pm. If you can help in any way, please email us and let us know! This would be a great opportunity to the club. We would be donating 5% of our sales to The Air Force Aid Society and 5% to the Air Force Enlisted Village Indigent Widows' Fund. The rest would go into our club Operational Fund.
