MSC Sign Ups
The January MSC meeting was a riot! We had the Thrift Shop Fashion Show and it was a big success. The Thrift Shop is looking for
donations. If you want to clean some things out of your closet, make room for the new Christmas gifts, we will take it! Just take it to the Thrift
Shop. They are open Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:30am to 2:00pm.  We were also able to raise $80 for the Ellis Family. Thank you everyone
for your support for this Moody family in need. Also, it was late notice, but we were able to get some donations together for the Moore family,
who had a house fire last week. They needed some clothes since all their 3 yr old sons were ruined. Thank you everyone for that!

At the last meeting, we had a sign
up table with lots of events, other
groups and volunteer things to
sign up for. All these sign ups are
now on our website now. Please

Food/Drinks/Supplies for Next MSC Meeting
We are asking MSC members to help with the food, drinks and supplies for the
MSC meetings. We have everything we need for the February meeting but
cups, napkins, and forks and spoons. If you can help out in anyway, fill out the
form on the Sign Up Forms page or email signups@moodyspousesclub.com.

Upcoming MSC News
A lot of things are going to be happening soon with the MSC. We are planning on holding elections in
April, so if you are interested in running for an office, starting thinking about it now! We will have job
descriptions available soon. We will need two MSC members to be in the Nomination Committee that
are not interested in running for an office. We will also be getting the Constitution and By-Laws
together and will need a committee to help with that. The Silent Auction is planned for March which will
be a fun event.  Lot of things going on! Our scholarship applications are getting ready to go out to the
schools, on base and will be available on our website. Check back soon for more information.

The MSC roster can be used for contacting members, but,
we are not allowed to sell anything or solicit anything for
sale. We can not advertise for people who do Pampered
Chef  or sell Mary Kay or anything like that as we can not
solicit services. Thank you for your understanding. If you
have any questions, please contact us.
Did You Know?
The MSC sponsors one of the awards for the Airman
Leadership School graduates? It is the Academic
Achievement Award and is earned by the student who
obtained the highest academic standings on
summative, objective and performance evaluations.
Habitat for Humanity
We have had requests about doing something as
a group and we may have just that opportunity!
Habitat for Humanity is doing a "Women's Build"
where only women are building a house for a
single mother. If you may be interested in doing
this, let us know! More information coming soon.

Becoming an "Official" Member of the Moody Spouses Club
With voting and elections coming up, it has been discussed on how we will determine membership to the Moody Spouses Club and
quorum at meetings . Since we don't charge dues, we have come up with a form you can fill out saying you would like to be an official
member of the MSC and have voting rights. This form will be sent via email to the roster we have now and can be emailed back.
It can also be filled out at the next two membership meetings, February and March. You need to fill out this form by the March 15th
to receive ballots for the elections in April and have voting rights for MSC issues.  If you miss the deadline, you can fill it out at the
May meeting. If you elect to not fill out the form, you are still more than welcome at our meetings, you just will not be able to vote.
