The elections for the 2008~2009 MSC Board
were held April 10th, 2008. A uncontested
ballot and unanimous vote in favor elected our

May MSC Meeting
The May meeting is around the corner! May 1st, 2008 at the Moody Field
Club. You do need to reserve your space to attend. To RSVP, fill out the
form here, Reserve Online, or email reservations@moodyspousesclub.com

For May: The food will be a Pasta Bar with Salad and Drinks
included. $8.00 for non Moody Field Club members and $6.00 for
members. You can come and pay as early as 5:30pm. Food will
be served at 5:45pm. We will also have a cake to congratulate
Scholarship recipients.

Silent Auction 2008
Our Silent Auction was a huge success
this year! We had some amazing
donations from local business and
people. We were able to raise just
under $5,000 to go towards our
Scholarship Fund for this year!
Excellent job everyone! A big thank you
to the board members and volunteers
who put this event together for you.  
Can't wait for next years event!
Heartlink
There will be a Heartlink
Seminar May 7th, from 9am
to 2pm. It is a wonderful
program that is geared for
new military spouses and
people new to the base, but
spouses that have more
years "active duty" can
always walk away with
something too! For more

Relay for Life
The Relay for Life is coming up
too! May 2nd at 7pm to the 3rd
and 7am. Scheduling for walking
will be happening soon. There is
still time to join and get donations!

information. It is an excellent event
and so far, the Moody Spouses
Club is the largest team in
Valdosta and we have raised over
$2700 for the American Cancer
Society! Go YOU! Even if you cant
get out there and walk on the 2nd
and 3rd, you can help raise
money. Anything you can
contribute helps a great cause!

Moody Spouses Club By-Laws and Constitution Vote
The newly updated Constitution and By-Laws of the Moody Spouses Club will be voted on at the May meeting. You must be a member to vote. There will be no
new memberships until the new club year (August 2008). In order to vote, you needed to turn in a membership form by March 15th, 2008. Here is a link to the
